Meeting our Patients Where They're At
Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's, in partnership with the Puyallup School District, launched our first school-based health clinic at the beginning of the 2021 school year. This clinic is located next to the counseling office at Emerald Ridge High School and provides behavioral health services students at ERHS and Glacier View Junior High.
Accessing Services
Are you a parent of a ERHS/GVHS student who needs some additional support? We'd love to help your family! Please contact your student's school counselor and request to be referred to the Woodcreek school-based health clinic. Your student's counselor may also reach out to you if they believe a behavioral health assessment would be helpful to your student.
The school counselor will transmit the referral to our office, and we will be in touch with your family within a week to discuss our services and obtain all necessary information. We will send you forms to fill out electronically and return; once that is done, we can schedule your student's first appointment.

Student Consent
State law requires us to obtain a consent for treatment and agreement to release records directly from the student, as well as the parent, when the student is 13 years of age or older. Where parents are not involved in the student's treatment, we will seek consent from the student only.
Paying for Care
The school-based health clinic is a Woodcreek Pediatrics site, meaning that we can bill health insurance for the services our counselors render. We will collect insurance information as part of the paperwork we obtain before starting services, and we can assist you in securing a referral for treatment from your primary care provider if needed.
In order to maintain confidentiality, students who are seen without parental involvement are not charged for their visits.
