Woodcreek Pediatrics is pleased to announce that we finally have Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to offer to our patients age 6 months and older. We'll ask you about your child's COVID vaccination status when you come in for your next appointment, but you don't have to wait - call us to schedule a nurse visit if you're ready to vaccinate, or book an appointment with your provider if you want to discuss the pros and cons of vaccination.
Babies and children need recommended vaccinations for a healthy start to life, to attend school and many other group programs.
At Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's, we will give you all the information you need from your baby’s first vaccine series through school age requirements. Vaccines are the safest and most effective method to prevent disease and other health complications in children and young adults. We will maintain your child’s immunization record, recommend vaccines according to current standards, schedule maintenance doses, and provide an immunization history for your record and other purposes, such as school registration, sports and/or camps.
Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's Vaccination Schedule
We understand that the topic of childhood vaccinations is one not to be taken lightly. Woodcreek Pediatrics - Mary Bridge Children's strongly encourages childhood immunizations as recommended by the CDC, and we encourage you to discuss all immunizations thoroughly with your pediatrician. The following is the immunization schedule we recommend for all children.
Since we are a pediatric office, we receive immunization doses through the health department (VFC program). That's why our supply is different than that of local pharmacies. Through this program we are able to offer state supplied vaccines at no cost to the pediatric patient although there is a charge for administration of the vaccine which differs depending on the type of appointment and the type of insurance. This administration fee is billed to insurance.
